“Our crew had the BEST first lesson with Trevor. We have an 8-year-old with more confidence and a 6-year-old who was a little more worried and Trevor was so patient and encouraging of each of them, meeting them exactly where they were. He has experience teaching kids and teaching skateboarding and clearly is so passionate about the sport himself. He started with basics (what are the parts of the skateboard? what are the different objects at a skatepark called?) and helped the kids build from there. His head was constantly on a swivel back and forth with the two kids making sure they were both safe, engaged, and figuring things out, and he was quick to offer kind feedback when they didn't quite understand something. At the end, he gifted each of them little tech decks that matched the interests I had first told him about when introducing their personalities to him. I thought this was above and beyond! A really amazing experience--we will be back for more lessons!”
